July Championship Tournament Format
The tournament is open to all Generals League members, regardless of their skill level. Players who have already won two monthly championships are no longer allowed to join to give other players a chance to compete in our year end tournament which is the Player Of The Year.
Group Stage
The tournament is scheduled to commence on August 12, starting with the group stage. The game schedule will be determined based on the agreed upon time among the players. In the event that players are unable to reach a consensus, the tournament organizer can provide assistance. It is important that players complete all their matches before the 11 pm cutoff time; otherwise, the default rule will apply. The games will be played using the Mawkins Game Of The Generals mobile app.
Registered participants will be divided into four groups. Group seedings will be determined by the player app rank, Generals League player ratings and our familiarity with the players skill.
In the group stage, each group will engage in a single round-robin format, where every player within the group competes against each other once. Victorious players will receive 2 points, a draw will grant 1 point, and no points will be awarded for a loss. The top two players with the highest point totals from each group will advance to quarterfinals round in a cross-over race to 4 points match format. In case of a tie, game played between the tied player will determine who will advance. If their head to head game is also a tie, then both will play a match until a clear winner comes out.
Quarter Finals
In the quarterfinals, the first-place player from Group A will face off against the second-place player from Group B, while the top player from Group B will compete against the second-place player from Group A. The same arrangement applies to Group C and Group D. All quarterfinal matches will be played a race to 4 points match series, and the winners of each series will advance to the semifinals.

Semi-Finals and Championship Stage
The opponents in the semifinals and finals stage will be determined by the outcomes of the quarter finals round. Similar to the quarterfinals, each player will participate in a race to 4 point match during these stages. Where a win is 2 points and draw is 1 point.
